I understand that the impact of COVID-19 has been anxiety provoking, especially in regards to the many unknowns that lie ahead.  Please know I am here to support you and will do my best to provide you with continuous care and a safe environment amidst this situation.  This webpage allows me to easily communicate updates as I work to identify therapy options and institute new protocols for you.  Please check back regularly, as I will be adding more resources and information as it becomes available.  You may need to refresh your browser, clear your cache/delete your cookies, or clear out the open windows on your mobile device to periodically reset this webpage to get the most up to date information.

St. Louis County no longer requires masks to be worn upon entry into St. Louis County businesses.  As society moves into the next phase of fully re-opening, I have revised my policies and procedures to reflect these changes.  I sent all current clients as of 6/2/2021 a letter in the portal detailing these changes, reminding clients of our illness policy, and providing guidance on what to do if you are exposed to and/or contract COVID-19.  Further information regarding these topics can be accessed by going to the CDC’s webpage HERE or going to St. Louis County’s webpage at http://stlcorona.comPlease review these documents and e-sign the Informed Consent for In-Person Services in your portal if you have not already done so.

Effective September 1, 2021 I will be in my physical office full time on Mondays-Thursdays at 12:30pm-8:00pm I will continue to provide telehealth appointments to those who are interested, but I have now instituted a different procedure for scheduling telehealth appointments which can be found in your client letter in the portal dated 6/2/2021. For those of us meeting in person, please continue to follow the protocols we have established and that are outlined in my letter I sent you via the portal on 6/2/2021.  Telehealth benefits continue to change as insurance companies adjust to reflect the current COVID-19 situation; please keep abreast of these changes by regularly contacting your insurance company with any questions regarding your specific plan.  If COVID-19 numbers begin to increase at any point, I may need to make some adjustments and increase telehealth appointment availability.

Please contact me immediately if you are exhibiting any signs of illness, have recently traveled, and/or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19If you have any questions and/or concerns please contact me via our portal messaging system or call my office. I am thankful for all of you and greatly appreciate how patient you have been during all of these adjustments!

Insurance Resources

While I am capable of providing Telehealth services to my clients, some clients’ health insurance plans will cover the cost of these services and some will not.  Most insurance companies eliminated their cost-sharing benefits by 9-30-2020 (that means they no longer cover your copay if they were covering this cost amidst COVID-19 special provisions).  To determine what benefits are covered under your specific insurance plan, I recommend that you call your insurance company and use the Insurance Script document I created for you (see below) as a guide when you talk with the agentBecause it takes a long time to check client telehealth/insurance benefits (usually at least 30-60 minutes per client), I am physically unable to call on every client’s benefits.  You may click on a link below to download the Insurance Script document in Word or PDF format.
